  | Special Meeting-May 29, 2012-Budget Work Session/FY 2012-2013 Budget Presentation
The Town of Angier Board of Commissioners will meet in special session on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Building located at 28 North Raleigh Street, Angier to discuss the FY 2012-2013 Budget and the Budget will be presented to the Board of Commissioners at this meeting. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. There will be no action to adopt the budget at this meeting.
 |   | ANGIER PUBLIC LIBRARY REOPENS MONDAY, MAY 14, 2012 The Angier Public Library/Municipal Building/Gourd Museum, located at 28 N. Raleigh Street, will reopen on regular schedule on Monday, May 14th. For hours of operation, please go to Departments (Library) at www.angier.org

 |   | Animal Control Ordinance Amended The Town of Angier amended the Animal Control Ordinance on April 3, 2012 and will strictly enforce the ordinance whereby dog owners must clean up feces deposited by pets on all PUBLIC property. Initial violation results in a warning and thereafter, citations will be issued resulting in fines. For more info, contact Town Clerk Joyce Valley at 919-639-2071.

 |   | Electronic Gaming Operations The Town of Angier Board of Commissioners held a public hearing on Tuesday evening, November 1, 2011 and voted unanimously to amend the 2011-2012 Rate and Fee Schedule to add a fee for Electronic Gaming Operations (also known as Internet Sweepstakes, Internet Cafes, etc.). The privilege license fee will be effective immediately. Current business with such gaming machines will be grandfathered until the Town's next fiscal year, June 30, 2012. Fee imposed will be as follows:
Each business location: $1,000 for the privilege of machines in facility and an additional $500 per machine.
