Police Officer I, The Town of Angier is seeking a full-time Patrol Officer I. Must perform protective service work in accordance with established police methods and departmental practices and procedures. Must have the ability to follow written and oral instructions and to act with sound judgement. Applicant must be at least 21 years of age, have a high school education or equivalent, possess a Basic Law Enforcement Certificate issued by the State of North Carolina, and meet the certificate qualifications issued by the NC Criminal Justice Training and Standards. Selected applicant will be required to work rotating shifts, complete a background investigation, and pass a physical examination including a drug-screening and psychological test. Starting salary of $35,872 DOQ plus excellent benefits.
