Emergency Dispatch Phone: 911

Angier & Black River Fire Department, Inc. proudly protects over 10,000 people living in an area of 25 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a private department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status.

The Angier & Black River Fire Department is committed to serving all people in the District 9 community, serving and preserving the livelihood and well being of each home and business. Through hard work and personal sacrifice the members make this one of the best departments in the county. We take a very aggressive, but safe approach when dealing with each incident. This is most evident in our call response time, which averages less than 8 minutes. In addition to the dedication of all our members, we are very fortunate to belong to a community that supports our efforts 100%.
