Reading is fundamental to a child's future success. Getting your child a library card is an important step, and using the library together will further encourage your child's development of a lifetime love of reading.

To obtain a library card, adults will need to provide a picture such as a North Carolina Driver's License or North Carolina ID. Also you will need to bring proof of your mailing address such as your check book or a piece of mail. Parents and guardians will need to obtain a card for children ages 16 and under.

Persons with a library card can check out books, magazines, CDs, CD-ROMs, audiobooks in cassette and CD, and videos. A library card gives you full borrowing privileges at any Library in Harnett County.

It is our hope that you and your child will visit the Angier Public Library and take advantage of our many resources and events!
