Planning Board

The Angier Planning Board is an Advisory Board responsible for making recommendations to the Angier Board of Commissioners in matters related to planning, zoning and development. The Planning Board reviews rezoning requests, amendments to the Angier Unified Development Ordinance and other matters before a Public Hearing is held and a final decision is made by the Board of Commissioners. Planning Board members are appointed by the Board of Commissioners and include 4 members who reside within the Town Limits and 3 members who reside in Angier's Extra Territorial Jurisdiction. These members serve two year staggered terms which expire on December 31st.

The Planning Board meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm in the Board Room located at 28 N. Raleigh Street in Angier.
