The Town of Angier would like to invite you to come together on Thursday, May 5, 2022 for the National Day of Prayer as we remember our past, give thanks for our present and pray for our future. 

Established in 1952, by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, the National Day of Prayer is an annual event that was signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. The observance of the National Day of Prayer is founded on the constitutional rights of freedom of speech and freedom of religion and can be celebrated by all Americans.

National Day of Prayer observance in Angier, NC will be led by Town of Angier Police Department Chaplain, Hector Alonso and Angier and Black River Fire Department Chaplain, George Miser.

When: Thursday, May 5, 2022 – 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM

Where: Angier Town Hall Flag Pole - 55 N. Broad St., Angier, NC 27501
